Today marks the 3rd birthday of my blog, and what better way to celebrate than to spice things up a bit around here?
So I had my wonderful, amazingful, beautiful friend (Sara) over and together we came up with these photos.

I know I said I'd probably never do one, but ya know what? I needed this in my life.
Sara has taken me under her wing and is breathing new life into my closet!

This mommy needed a glamour session, badly!
And this mini-shoot totally hit the spot.
We chatted a bit beforehand and I let her in on the fact that up until about a month and a half ago I had just been feeling so BLAH and out of it. I felt frumpy all the time, and because of the fact that babies need their mommy's love and attention about 99.999% of the day, I was just always too tired to do those small things that usually make me feel good about myself-- painting my nails, curling my hair, shaving my legs, etc.
Motherhood is the perfect opportunity to learn to be selfless, and boy has it not been easy!
This post is my declaration of the fact that I'm morphing back into the normal version of me.
I now have more energy and Bekah is more independent, which frees me up to do some of my favorite things.

And now, on a semi-random note,

most high quality friends I've ever had.

She is genuine and kindhearted and fun and just such a great person.
Jon, Bekah, and I have been so blessed to get to know her.
With her help (because, on my own, I lack both the time and patience)

Together we'll go thrifting, hit up yard sales, and buy from the clearance rack of our favorite stores
to bring to you what we call style.
