My heart ... in words ... all over this post.

What's a girl to do when her husband and baby fall asleep way before she does?

Pour her heart out in a blog post, of course. 

I sit here surrounded by piles-

piles of clothes that need folding

color coded piles of dirty clothing

piles of books that need shelves for a home

piles of mail and papers that need to be sorted through... 

so many piles. 

And I feel like the piles somehow symbolize the endless list of things I need to get done. 

*Schedule a doctor's appointment for Bekah

*Respond to that important email i've been completely ignoring

*Check flight prices to New York

*Clean, do laundry, clean some more

*Love on my husband

*Love on my daughter

*.... and so on

Isn't it overwhelming to think of all the things you need to do?

It's almost as if there aren't enough hours in the day to actually LIVE life. 

But that's not the truth. 

I know the truth. 

The truth is- 

the less I focus on doing things in my own strength and time

and the more I focus on Jesus

the better my days turn out to be, and the more I am able to accomplish. 

So this is where I stop typing and start focusing. =)
