Sidenote: this may help you out BIG time.

Monday, December 5, 2011

Yesterday afternoon my husband and I had a bit of a misunderstanding, or quite a few misunderstandings which resulted in me bawling and him feeling completely frustrated. You know, typical marriage stuff.
Anyway, he came up with the bright idea to get online and take the Five Love Languages assessment, to see if his love languages were still the same.
After we both took the assessment (it took about 10 minutes total) we found out that his hadn't changed, but mine definitely had. {My primary love language is quality time while his is physical touch.}
This helped us out big time.
It always helps to know which types of actions/words make your spouse feel most loved. The best part about the assessment is that it's available in six different forms:
*For Wives *For Husbands *For Singles *For Children
*For Parents of Teenagers and *Languages of Apology
If you'd like to find out what your love languages are, you should definitely go check out the 5 love languages website
I'd also recommend you read the book. It's been such a major help in my life. It will for sure help you as well!

Have a great Monday night!

  3. i agree with delaney. i love that he took the test because it just shows where his heart is despite the fight that happened. He is a man who works at loving his woman. so admirable. And i love that book. I read it in highschool actually when i was struggling with depression. blessed me.
